Family photography, to me, is all about candid, natural moments - the giggles, the piggybacks, the in-between glances you'd never think to pose for. I want your session to feel relaxed rather than staged, so everyone can just be themselves in front of the camera.
Wherever feels right for your family is where we'll go - your own garden, a favourite local park, the beach, or somewhere that means something special to you. I'm happy to travel and can help you choose a spot that suits the season and the vibe you're after.

What if my children don't sit still?
I don't expect little ones to sit and smile at the camera. My sessions are relaxed and child-led, with plenty of exploring, cuddles, playing and laughter. Some of the most beautiful photographs come from those natural moments.
How long does a family session last?
Most sessions last around 1 hour. This gives us plenty of time without little ones becoming too tired or overwhelmed.
We feel awkward in front of the camera...
You're not alone! Almost everyone tells me this before their session. My approach is relaxed and natural, so there isn't lots of awkward posing. I'll gently guide you while encouraging genuine connection, allowing your personalities to shine through.
What should we wear?
I always recommend wearing something you feel comfortable and confident in. Soft, neutral tones and earthy colours photograph beautifully, but the most important thing is that you feel like you.
Where do family sessions take place?
Wherever feels right for your family is where we'll go. Whether that's your own garden, a favourite local park, the beach, or somewhere that's full of special memories, I'm all for choosing a location that feels natural to you. If you're not sure, don't worry! I have plenty of beautiful locations across South Wales that I'm always happy to recommend.
What if the weather is bad?
Living in Wales, we're no strangers to unpredictable weather! If the forecast isn't looking great, we'll simply rearrange your session for another date. I always want you to have the best experience (and the best light!), so there's no pressure to shoot in the rain unless you're feeling adventurous!
When will we receive our photographs?
Your gallery will be ready within 2–3 weeks of your session. You'll receive a private online gallery where you can download your high-resolution images, ready to print, share and enjoy for years to come.
Do you travel?
I do! I'm based in South Wales but love exploring new places. Whether your favourite beach is a little further along the coast or you've got a special spot in mind, I'd love to hear about it. If your chosen location is a little further afield, I'll always let you know about any travel costs before you book, no surprises.
Can we bring our dog?
Of course! Dogs are such a special part of the family, and I’d love for them to be involved. I’m a big dog lover myself, so expect plenty of patience, treats, cuddles and capturing all the fun, natural moments that come with having your furry family member there.
